Car Ferry Booking
We are able to book car ferry crossings from either Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington. The price is usually cheaper than the public price so please give us a call on 01983 863 162 to make arrangements prior to booking your accommodation.
Arrival, Keys & Departure
We ask all our guests to let us know their approximate arrival time. Check in is between 2:00pm and 8:00pm. Check in outside these times maybe possible but only with prior arrangement. Hana & Steve are always on hand at check in to give a tour of Brooke House and help with luggage. We provide one set of keys per room. If you would like a second set we ask for a £20 refundable deposit.
Check out is by 10:00am. It maybe possible to keep your room until midday for an extra cost of £10.00. Please enquire early if you would like to do this.
We are happy to store your luggage until 1:00pm on your day of departure.
Car Park & Bicycle Storage
We have a car park suitable for 4 vehicles which runs on a first come first served basis. We offer secure storage for bicycles.
Outdoor Seating
We have a lovely patio at the front of the house which catches the sun most of the day. Inside Brooke House is 100% no smoking, however, we do allow smoking on the front patio away from the entrance.
Guest Lounge
Our Guest Lounge is a quiet space, well equipped with books, Isle of Wight information, games and puzzles.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is FREE at Brooke House and available throughout the building including guest rooms and communal areas.
Local Information
Each room has their own information folder, bus and train information booklets and timetables and maps showing local places to eat.
We have a wide selection of maps, leaflets and booklets about the Isle of Wight, places of interest and attractions.
Ironing facilities and extra pillows are available on request.
We offer the hire of beach towels.
Rooms 1, 2, 3 & 7 each have a fridge in the room. Rooms 4, 5 & 6 share a fridge on the landing.
Guest Rooms are serviced daily.
Evening meals are available during certain periods – please see our dining page for more information about breakfast & dinner.
